It’s no secret that New Yorkers like to play dress-up, which is why there’s some truth to the saying that in NYC, every day is like Halloween. It’s also true that during October, the City really goes all out. (All Hallows’ Eve might not be until the 31st, but the five boroughs have a standing tradition of celebrating all month long.)
