To honor the upcoming London Olympics and Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee, how about a taste of England right in New York City? Modern British cuisine has caught on by virtue of the talents of Gordon Ramsay at the London and April Bloomfield at The Spotted Pig, The Breslin and The John Dory. Whitehall Bar + Kitchen in the West Village is a stylish hit, as is the Brit-owned Crosby Street Hotel's Bar and Terrace.
