  • St. George Theatre
Just a short ferry ride (and walk) from Lower Manhattan, the grand St. George Theatre is a baroque-style, 2,800-seat venue that showcases national tours, music concerts, comedy shows and one-of-a-kind dance performances. This historic hall, which first opened its doors in 1929, boasts an impressive season of programming. Take the entire family to see their favorite blue dog at Blue's Clues Live (December 27) or to catch Dorothy and crew in a production of The Wizard of Oz (March 10, 2013). But we suggest leaving the children home for Joan Rivers on April 6, 2013; the colorful comedian has a penchant for poking fun at Justin Bieber.
