  • St. George Theatre
Located in St. George—a Staten Island neighborhood with historic architecture and sweeping waterfront views—this 2,800-seat theater first opened its doors on December 4, 1929. The majestic facility has served as a movie palace, a vaudeville stage and even a roller rink, to name just a few of its guises. Today it hosts performances of all kinds, including concerts and comedy shows. Winter highlights include The Christmas Show (December 13–15), a two-hour production packed with classic holiday songs, and Blue's Clues Live (December 30), which is sure to delight young fans of the Nick Jr. television show.
