The 2013 Artists in the Marketplace Biennial, which showcases the projects of up-and-coming artists, ends on September 8, but you can catch engaging exhibits at the art museum all season long. Paulo Bruscky: Art Is Our Last Hope (September 19–February 9, 2014) features the dynamic, culture-packed art of a Brazilian artist who rebelled against censorship in his country by mailing his work via a network of colleagues and showcased his projects at Fluxus exhibitions in the 1960s. Also this season, Tony Feher (October 6–February 15, 2014) takes an in-depth look at 60 pieces created by the sculpture artist over a span of 20 years. Feher’s work plays with such elements as sand, plastic flowers, glass jars and cardboard boxes.
