    Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts has been a leader in music, dance and theater programming for more than 50 years, and the spring season looks promising. The Metropolitan Opera welcomes back two of its more successful and popular productions, Madama Butterfly and La Bohème, as well as a handful of new operas including Mozart's Così fan tutte. Starting in late April, the New York City Ballet opens with a weeklong festival of 21st-century choreographers, featuring works by Alexei Ratmansky, Peter Martins and Christopher Wheeldon. Tutus spin again in June when the American Ballet Theatre revisits the classic Cinderella. Additionally, the New York Philharmonic's NY PHIL BIENNIAL, features modern music by more than 50 contemporary composers from all around the world.
