Even with 30,000 square feet of space, this emporium of all things from the Orient feels packed to the gills. There's more to buy than you can possibly imagine: soy sauce, teapots, medicinal herbs, underwear, musical instruments, embroidered silks by the yard, Chinese-checkers sets, pencils, Buddha statues, even tables fashioned from tree stumps. Here, the sublime sits right next to the kitsch, which makes for a great shopping experience. When you get tired of combing through all that merchandise, head to the mezzanine-level tearoom for a break. From there, go upstairs, where you'll find a large gallery of ornate Oriental furniture.
