The store developed such a following that the owners opened up Brookvin, a wine bar across the street, which encourages oenophilic exploration via reasonably priced pours and selections of half bottles. Grab a seat beneath the pressed-tin ceiling or on the back patio and order some house-cured salumi or seasonal small plates like octopus with lemon and black chickpeas or pea shoots with Parmigiano-Reggiano and fava beans.
