In the past few years, something of a vintage district has cropped up along Fifth Avenue in northern Park Slope. Well-curated boutiques sell Pucci minidresses, Frye campus boots and wide-leg Levi's at a fraction of the prices charged at similar SoHo and Lower East Side outlets. The best bargains are to be found at Beacon's Closet, on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Warren Street. Be prepared to dig through last season's H&M merchandise to grab the true finds. Continue south to scour the authentic cowboy boots at Odd Twin Trading Company and Guvnor's Vintage Thrift. Both have on-site tailors and plenty of quirky knickknacks, lamps, sequined clothing and more. Farther down on Fifth you'll find '60s and '70s threads at Yona Lee and a mix of vintage and contemporary designer womenswear at the pretty Two Lovers.
