    RedFarm is a blockbuster, a sequel that's even better than the original, thanks to the able team of dim sum master chef Joe Ng and the hospitable Ed Schoenfeld. The West Village branch of this eatery is still drawing crowds, but the new Upper West Side location—in the old Fatty Crab space—is playing to a bigger audience with a full-size bar and 79 seats, almost double the size. No reservations for parties under eight are accepted, and people start besieging it as early as 4:45pm to avoid a wait. You'll see why once you taste the incredible beef fried rice, succulent duck on skewers with grilled lychee nut and crisp lotus root, pork and crab soup dumplings and grilled shrimp with watercress sauce. Pale wood beams and red-checked upholstery give it a cheerful, urban farm feel. Friendly, swift service keeps tables turning, but if you'd like a more leisurely experience hit it at lunch.
