    "Boukiés" is Greek for "small bites," the focus of this sprawling new restaurant in the East Village—something that distinguishes it from its very popular older sister, Pylos. Select from almost two dozen appetizers and just two main courses, whole grilled fish or baby lamb chops. Famed Greek chef and cookbook author Diane Kochilas consulted on the menu, which includes crisp phyllo cylinders stuffed with mushrooms, as well as smoked shrimp and rosemary-infused cauliflower cream on grilled country bread. Steffen Sander, who's worked on luxury liners and at the former occupant of this space, Heartbreak, is executive chef. The Hellenic theme is also seen in the columns covered in vintage Mediterranean maps and European-style weaved-back chairs accented in sea blue.
