  • The cocktail and craft-beer revolutions are at such a fever pitch that we've noticed some new restaurants are actually drinks driven—the food meant to complement the beverages, instead of the other way around. That's not to say you'll eat any less well at two new Brooklyn taverns that we're highlighting in our slideshow. The East Village also has a new UK—inspired gastropub—emphasis on "pub"—while another set of Brits are bringing downtown cool to the Upper East Side. For more details, read on.
