Spring Guide

Nothing heralds the arrival of spring in the City quite like the first games of Major League Baseball. This year, sports fans might have to choose: the Mets and Yankees are each playing their home openers on April 1. (The intrepid, of course, will only interpret that news as a challenge to find the fastest way to travel between Citi Field and Yankee Stadium.) The warmer weather means plenty of other outdoor activities, too, including Cherry Blossom Viewing at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the TD Bank Five Borough Bike Tour. On the cultural front, film buffs won't want to miss New Directors/New Films at Lincoln Center and the Museum of Modern Art, and the Tribeca Film Festival further downtown. View the full slideshow for more information on these and many of the season's other happenings.
