Behind the Glass: This year's Saks Fifth Avenue flagship display dazzles with light and humor. As has been the tradition since 2005, a show showers the entire facade of the building with a projection of LED snowflakes, some reaching 10 stories high. This year, the two-minute show, which runs every half hour during the evening, is complemented with a shaggy, bigfoot-like character called Yeti within wintry scenes in windows involving flurries, snowfalls and mini versions of the abominable snowman. Other windows flaunt mannequins dressed in couture gowns from Zac Posen, Jason Wu and Marchesa.
Bring Home: Your very own stuffed Yeti Plush ($55) and hang with the fabled snowman all year long.
