  • The 66th-annual Tony Awards honored Broadway’s best on June 10 in a spectacularly grand display hosted by actor Neil Patrick Harris. The new musical Once, based on the 2006 Oscar-winning Irish film of the same name, dominated the evening by picking up eight awards, including Best Musical, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical and Best Direction of a Musical. (Read our interview with the show's leads, Steve Kazee and Cristin Milioti.) Peter and the Starcatcher (the Peter Pan prequel), meanwhile, received five awards, among them Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play for Christian Borle's portrayal of the soon-to-be Neverland nemesis Captain Hook. Clybourne Park, the Pulitzer Prize–winning play about race and real estate, won the Tony for Best Play. Read on to find out more about the 2012 Tony Award winners.
