New York Islanders

620 Atlantic Ave.
Brooklyn, NY 11217
Prospect Heights

The Islanders marked their first season in Brooklyn (which, while within the boundaries of New York City, is geographically a part of Long Island) by winning their first playoff series in more than two decades. The team, led by young star John Tavares, has a fierce rivalry with the Manhattan-based Rangers—so get a ticket to one of those crosstown matchups if you want to see fans at their most enthusiastic. The Islanders’ new home, Barclays Center, is easy to reach from Long Island via the LIRR and from the City via the subway system. See the team schedule and buy tickets here.
