Explore the New York Botanical Garden at your own pace with an All-Garden Pass to this premier attraction, a National Historic Landmark located in the Bronx. Wander on foot or take an included tram tour through the cultivated grounds of New York’s greatest living museum, whose 250 acres (101 hectares) depict America’s northeastern landscapes. This All-Garden Pass gives you access to the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, special exhibitions (such as the Holiday Train Show or Orchid Show), the Everett Children's Adventure Garden and the seasonal Rock Garden.

Located in the Bronx, just 20 minutes on MetroNorth from Grand Central Terminal on the Harlem line, the New York Botanical Garden has showcased the United States' premier northeast garden landscapes since its inception in 1891. Use your All-Garden Pass for all-day entry to this National Historic Landmark and its world-renowned exhibitions. 


Take a tram tour or make your own way on foot through some of the 50 gardens and plant collections as well as dozens of gardens specializing in ornamentals — including the Native Plant Garden, orchid collection, perennial garden, conifer arboretum, Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden, Thain Family Forest, herb garden, lilac collection, wetland trail, tree peonies, Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden, azalea garden and more. 


Visit the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory and Everett Children's Adventure Garden, and venture into the seasonal Rock Garden (spring, summer and fall). Food is available for purchase at the Pine Tree Cafe or Hudson Garden Grill, a full-service restaurant.

 

Impressionism: American Gardens on Canvas Now through September 11, 2016

American Impressionism comes to life in a garden-wide exhibition capturing the spirit of gardens that inspired artists at the turn of the 20th century. Throughout the Garden, celebrate the spirit of America and NYBG's 125th Anniversary with an exciting array of programs showcasing many aspects of American culture from this era, which coincided with NYBG's founding. Enjoy jazz and tap performances, a lively evening concert series, lectures and symposia, film screenings of popular entertainment acts, a poetry walk, and art activities for adults and children.

Immerse yourself in a sea of blooming beauty! The Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden is among the most popular destinations at the Garden from May to October, when more than 650 varieties of roses are in peak bloom. On June 4 & 5, celebrate the peak of color and beauty in the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden. Stop by for two days of live music, plant care demonstrations, tours with expert rosarians, and refreshments in the shade of the garden's overlooks.

Enchanting model trains zip through a display of 150 landmarks, each re-created with bark, leaves, and other natural materials—all under the twinkling glow of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. Marvel at G-scale locomotives humming along among familiar sights such as the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, and Rockefeller Center on nearly a half-mile of track. The recent exhibition expansion continues with more trains and a true New York finale featuring a whimsical tribute to the iconic Coney Island amusement park’s architecture and attractions. Explore a winter wonderland across our 250 acres with special tours, a cappela performances, Winter Harmonies Concerts, a poetry reading with recently named NYBG poet laureate, Billy Collins, and activities for kids.
