Formerly a sommelier at Felidia and an assistant wine director at Balthazar, owner Scott Pactor unconventionally dedicates two thirds of his stock to biodynamic and organic vino. The merchandise is helpfully organized by general geography and then region­--much like on a restaurant wine list--and cards around the store offer pairing suggestions. Don't worry about bringing the kids here. Coloring books and comfy chairs are part of the welcoming vibe.
