description/

NYCGO Logo Opened on January 17, 1968, this East Village playhouse’s very first production was The Indian Wants the Bronx starring a very little-known actor named Al Pacino. Since then, it has gained a reputation as a place that champions experimental works, including the long-running Blue Man Group, which started there in 1991. The theater is located in the landmarked Colonnade Row on Lafayette Street.
