With a storied history and a rarefied approach to the art form, Russian ballet is revered around the world. The Brighton Ballet Theater and School of Russian Ballet was formed to preserve and advance this rich tradition of Russian dance. For more than 20 years, performers who have immigrated from all over the former Soviet Union have come to Brighton Beach to teach the next generation of dancers the importance of classical ballet and Russian folk traditions. The acclaimed troupe teaches children of all ages, has performed throughout New York City and often features stunning costumes in its productions.
