New York City is made up of five boroughs: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Each one has enough attractions—and enough personality—to be a city all its own. Learn more about them with this guide.
Brothers Tom and Anthony Martignetti have converted their former Bar Martignetti into this 92-seat locavore gastropub, designed to evoke the Victorian and industrial periods with repurposed factory carts that double as tables. They will source ingredients from as close to the city as possible, and put them to use in British-inflected dishes like monkfish fritters with mushy peas and tartar sauce, and pork-and-stilton bangers with mashed potatoes and onion gravy. Beers, too, will be exclusively from New York State.
