description/
There's a reason that every time you pass by Cafe Mogador it's buzzing with people whose college degrees have led them into the creative world, not the sort to keep conventional hours. What might seem like a casual coffee shop is actually pretty sophisticated when it comes to quality, and the prices are decent, too. Both the East Village and Williamsburg locations are true neighborhood hangouts—not places anyone talks about much, but the places locals keep ending up, almost as if by accident. The food is a blend of North African, Moroccan and Middle Eastern flavors—a magnet for vegetarians. Fair-trade coffee and organic eggs and milk are staples at brunch, and at night there's all manner of hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, couscous and tagine.
