If you’ve never been to Staten Island, this Southern Italian gem is just the excuse you need. Chef and owner Salvatore Anzalone worked for two years with a Sicilian food historian to create the menu, and the end result is authentic favorites dating back to the 12th century, including risotto with porcini mushrooms, chicken involtini with spinach, fontina and prosciutto, and chicken stuffed with lobster and cranberries.
