New York City is made up of five boroughs: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Each one has enough attractions—and enough personality—to be a city all its own. Learn more about them with this guide.
This five-day program allows young thespians ages 10–17 to boost their confidence and sharpen their performance skills through singing, acting and dancing lessons from Broadway professionals; a backstage seminar with a production crew; a matinee ticket to a Broadway show; and more. The week culminates with a special onstage performance for family and friends. Newcomers are welcome; no experience is necessary. Session dates for 2012 are July 16-20 and August 6-10. Parents of younger children should ask about a special program for ages 6–9.
