On October 1, 2011, CMA opened a new, 10,000 square-foot museum and hands-on art-making space on Charlton Street in SoHo. Immersed in the creative context of professionally curated exhibitions and inspired by the museum’s international collection of children’s art, more young artists now have access to more art making, more often, and with the best tools available.
