Kosher eats perfect for (J)date night come courtesy of the owners of rabbi-sanctioned steakhouse Le Marais. Candlelight sets the mood and punchy sangria sends things into chuppa territory--until the food shows up. A salad of arugula, orange and avocado was underdressed, and olive-oil roasted salmon was rather dry. The Clubhouse showed its better side with a juicy rib eye and a béarnaise sauce that could have passed for dairy. But dry chocolate "salami" just tasted...pareve. The verdict? Not worth the schlep.
