It has nothing to do with the famous moviemaking family, but this is the Italian restaurant from central casting. The scene: exposed brick, wooden beams and bottles of Chianti. The script: a perfect balance of pastas, meat dishes and personal pizzas. And what do the reviewers say? No brilliant performances but a good deal of competence. Pastas fell victim to overcooking, but their dressings, led by a white clam sauce bursting with large, whole mollusks in the shell, will take you by surprise. Chicken Contadina, diced poultry with spicy Italian sausage, satisfies hearty eaters. The reasonable prices for big portions convince most customers to give this Coppola two thumbs up.
