What started as a small-scale open-air market for local merchants has turned into an established shopping bazaar, where numerous entrepreneurs from the community present their wares. Among the market’s roster of 47 businesses are various service providers (technical support, tailoring and hairstyling) and purveyors of art, food, jewelry, crafts and beauty supplies. On Wednesdays, from mid-July through November, a farmers’ market adds fresh fruits and vegetables to the mix.
