The fourth-annual Groovin' in the Park concert is scheduled for Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 2pm (gates open at noon) at Roy Wilkins Park in Queens. This event pairs the best in reggae with Grammy Award–winning R&B artists and attracts more than 15,000 concertgoers annually for a festive day filled with music, family and fun. This year's concert features Chronixx, Beres Hammond, Air Supply, Marcia Griffiths & Judy Mowatt of Bob Marley and The Wailers, John Holt, Bob Andy and more. This captivating musical and cultural experience also includes the cuisine of various local Caribbean restaurants. Early-bird tickets are $40 (VVIP $149), and children under 12 are free.
