Located north of the Metropolitan Opera House and in front of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Hearst Plaza, formerly known as North Plaza, is one of Lincoln Center's sites for outdoor concerts. In the warmer months, it's best known for its free events, primarily orchestra, jazz and chamber music.
