description/

NYCGO Member Logo The seasonal farm-to-table cooking at Hospoda dispels the notion that Central European food is heavy. Executive chef Oldřich Sahajdak (of Prague’s La Degustation, which earned a Michelin star in 2012) and chef de cuisine Katie Busche bring their light, refined touch here, uniting the Old World with the new. Look for Prague-style ham with apple horseradish, grits and malt syrup, or crispy duck confit with red cabbage. It's a grand place, conveniently next door to the Czech consulate. How nice for the diplomats to have a handsome, after-work beer hall that features Pilsner Urquell in four distinct pours, ranging from all foam to no foam at all.
