New York City is made up of five boroughs: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Each one has enough attractions—and enough personality—to be a city all its own. Learn more about them with this guide.
Jazz at Lincoln Center Irene Diamond Education Center
The Irene Diamond Education Center houses Jazz at Lincoln Center’s educational programs, with classes for both adults and children. Kids can start as young as 8 months, with a class that teaches both the tykes and their parents the basics of jazz. The adult programs include a class called Swing University, which teaches students how to get the most out of listening to jazz. The center also has three performance spaces, including one of the largest recording studios in New York.
