Down under the Manhattan Bridge overpass (that's Dumbo) is where you find the restaurant Rice, and down under Rice there's Low Bar. The subterranean twilight world is a labyrinth of vinyl couches, with tiny bulbs twinkling like stars on the black ceiling. To heighten the mood, Low features such gin-based concoctions as the Delmonico, which blends gin with brandy, dry and sweet vermouth. The bar menu offers seven kinds of skewers, like tandoori chicken or roasted Japanese eggplant.
