Opened by product junkie Amy Yang as an antidote to department stores, Park Slope's Luilei is devoid of overly "helpful" sales associates. The shop boasts a big sink where Yang encourages customers to test shampoos or apply masks from tester bottles--as well as a stock of hard-to-find goodies, including uncommon fragrances such as Minnie Wilde Magic and Aftelier Absinthe; cult skin-care lines like Brooklyn's own McBride Beauty and Japan's Komenuka Bijin; and cosmetics lines Hourglass and Paula Dorf.
