New York City is made up of five boroughs: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Each one has enough attractions—and enough personality—to be a city all its own. Learn more about them with this guide.
Located in an old sweater factory, this hands-on lab for crafts, building, art and invention offers classes during which you can expand your skills and create something, and space where you can finish your own project. Classes include Table Saw 101, where you learn about said tool and create an art-framing project, and Biscuit Joiner 101, in which you learn how to maneuver a biscuit/plate joiner and then use your skills to create a project, like a wine rack. Makeville Studio also tries to use recycled and reclaimed materials as often as possible.
