The August closing of beloved Sparky's left the desolate section of south Carroll Gardens in dire need of a watering hole. Jennifer McShane has set out to fill the void with this elegant, 375-square-foot bar. While the room is tiny, the drinks menu is not: McShane carries more than 30 international wines by the glass, more than a dozen high-end bourbons and an array of specialty drinks, including the Girl Scout Martini, which comes with a Thin Mint.
