This old-school two-drink-minimum club is as bare bones as the small stage. The establishment squeezes in up to five shows a night and up to six or seven comics a show. Saturdays late slot goes to the citys best black performers. (Note to white folks: Sit in the front row. The comics will thank you.) And the NYCC is one of the few clubs in the city to still offer open-mikes.
