New York City is made up of five boroughs: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Each one has enough attractions—and enough personality—to be a city all its own. Learn more about them with this guide.
This quality sub shop has loads of creativity between its homemade buns: hot and sour egg salad with bamboo shoots and wonton crackers, imitation lobster thermidor (shrimp and mackerel mashed up with capers) and interesting twists on your basic roast beef, ham and turkey. Since it's adjacent to the happening Ace Hotel, there's a cool crowd along with business types lining up at lunchtime. Meats are locally sourced and sodas are housemade. The shop stays open until 9pm—unless it runs out of bread earlier.
