Ever wonder what became of your old, corny band T-shirts? Downtown artist turned eco-conscious clothing designer Illia Barger fashions them into a comfy collection of bottoms known as Pantaluna. Barger's 100% cotton line includes everything from mini-skirts ($115) to workout pants ($125). You can even commission a custom pair of pants from your old NKOTB T-shirts, if that suits your fancy. Pets get a piece of the recycled pie with Pantaluna offering Cat Tee-Zer toys ($7) and Mighty Tee-Bones ($17). Or if cashmere is more your speed, have your out-of-style sweaters turned into custom lounging pants just in time for winter. The new boutique also sells unique artwork by Barger and her collaborating seamstress husband Glen Capelle that features discarded T-shirts sewn onto oversized wall canvases.
