New York City is made up of five boroughs: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Each one has enough attractions—and enough personality—to be a city all its own. Learn more about them with this guide.
Murray Hill jumped "the pond" with the opening of this British-inspired restaurant from chef Jason Hicks and restaurateur Yves Jadot, the forces behind Jones Wood Foundry and The Raines Law Room. The Peacock offers a sophisticated yet unfussy menu of traditional British fare with American influence, and classic cocktails. Evoking an early 19th century English gentleman’s club, The Peacock is located within the former Williams Club. Menu highlights include ginger glazed organic Scottish salmon, crispy duck confit salad and Hudson Valley rabbit pie. Sticky toffee date pudding with toffee rum sauce and vanilla ice cream is a signature dessert.
