Don"t let the address fool you. This unassuming Mulberry Street Vietnamese spot is on the right side of Canal--a block south of the Italian tourist traps. The space is cafeteria-like, the menu filled with simple, satisfying classics: rice plates, pho and lemongrass-flavored everything (chicken, beef, fish, frog legs). The pork and beef vermicelli ({I}bun nem nuong and bun bo nuong{/I}) are killer deals at $5 a pop. Feeling more adventurous? Experiment with the tripe dishes, perhaps best attempted after trying all three Vietnamese beers.
