A pilgrim is defined as someone who embarks on a quest to find something sacred. Co-owners Richard Ives and Brian Bennett did just that to create their debut shop in Soho. Part boutique, part art gallery, their space showcases 20th-century abstract paintings, designer vintage apparel and accessories, decorative antique pieces, and Pilgrim's own ready-to-wear line. Reminiscent of the '60s, the shop's collection consists of jersey halters ($110), bouclé skirts ($155), silk minidresses ($260), and brocade short-sleeved coats ($250). The expertly curated selection of vintage garb ranges from the '50s to '80s and includes wares from Lanvin, YSL, Ungaro and Cacharel. Jewelry and accessories, like preban ivory bangles and '60s-inspired beaded necklaces, mingle among Korean pottery from the fourth century--all of which, in our opinion, are sacred (and covetable) pieces.
