Prospect Park is proud to host the country’s first Audubon Center located in an urban area. Filled with interactive exhibitions on wildlife and environmental conservation, this Audubon Center features human-size bird nests that kids can climb into, a park visitor center and changing exhibitions that include information on local ecosystems, tips on how you can help the environment and sometimes even a few live animals (handled by a park ranger).
