New York City is made up of five boroughs: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Each one has enough attractions—and enough personality—to be a city all its own. Learn more about them with this guide.
The Prospect Park bandshell hosts a wide variety of open-air entertainment during the warm weather months, including live rock, jazz, and classical concerts, as well as movie screenings—many of them free to the public. The bandshell is also the home base of the annual Celebrate Brooklyn culture festival, which includes booths serving food from local restaurants and performances from acclaimed artists ranging from David Byrne to Big Daddy Kane.
