Trinidadian rotis are hand-rolled daily before being stuffed to order with curried potatoes, chickpeas, and your choice of meat or veg and a rack of spices at this Harlem mainstay. Purists use a fork and knife, but plenty of regulars grab their rolls to go, stealing the first bite before they"re even out the door. Other dishes include tasty staples like saltfish-and-aloo pie, a hearty Trinidadian pastry filled with whitefish and curried potatoes. After ten years, the owners have spruced up the dining room, adding palm leaves, bright paintings and Trinidadian music.
