NYCGO Member  Logo Founded in 1928 and now located in Queens’ Long Island City neighborhood, the center is dedicated to experimental development in contemporary sculpture. Housed in a trolley repair shop redesigned by artist Maya Lin, the 6,000-square-foot space is home to ongoing sculpture installations on provocative topics like The Happiness of Objects and Decoys, Complexes, and Triggers: Feminism and Land Art in the 1970s, as well as an ongoing artist-in-residence program.
