NYCGO Member  Logo Founded in 1928 and now located in Queens’ Long Island City neighborhood, the center is dedicated to experimental development in contemporary sculpture. Housed in a trolley repair shop redesigned by artist Maya Lin, the 6,000 square foot space is home to ongoing sculpture installations on provocative topics like “Illusion,” “The Happiness of Objects” and “Feminism and Land Art in the 1970s,” as well as an ongoing artist-in-residence program.
