New York City is made up of five boroughs: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Each one has enough attractions—and enough personality—to be a city all its own. Learn more about them with this guide.
Who needs corporate music industry red tape when you can do it yourself at this Brooklyn recording studio and live-music venue? Shea Stadium was the brainchild of producer Adam Reich, and it is meant to encourage anyone and everyone who wants to share their tracks with the world. The deal: come and use the equipment for free, and invite your friends to come along and watch (for a small cover charge). And although it's not up and running yet, an imminent MySpace page will showcase local talent and feature a schedule of upcoming shows and events.
