Sora Lella was the sister of celebrated Italian actor and comedian Aldo Fabrizi, so her restaurant, which opened in Rome in 1959, became a haunt for his friends, including Marlon Brando and Cary Grant. Now her grandsons have replicated the distinguished restaurant and Lella's recipes at an outpost in western SoHo. Approximately 80 percent of the menu is the same, with traditional pasta fagioli, baby lamb stuffed with artichokes and fresh herbs, and homemade spinach-and-ricotta ravioli with a veal-and-porcini-laced tomato sauce.
