Due to the temporary closures of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Statue Cruises is offering two separate sightseeing cruises which focus on downtown Manhattan and include close passes by Lady Liberty. Any visitor who has booked a ticket to the Statue of Liberty/ Ellis Island can exchange their ticket for the 60-minute Statue of Liberty Harbor Cruise. For an additional $16, Statue of Liberty ticketholders can upgrade to the 90-minute Premium Harbor Cruise aboard the state-of-the-art yacht Hornblower Hybrid. The Hybrid offers a truly unique experience, as the food (purchased on board) is unmatched on the Harbor, including all fresh and organic soups, salads and wraps. The audio narration is given by the Captain himself. The Premium Harbor Cruise runs three times a day, Fri.–Mon. The economy cruise runs daily, every 30 minutes from 10am–4:45pm. There is an audio narration and concessions are sold on board. All cruises depart and land in Battery Park, and there are no stops in between. Both CityPass and the New York Pass are accepted for the Harbor Cruises.
