New York, NY 10029

description/

Please note: this business is now closed; nycgo.com keeps record of many old and closed venues. Founded in 1995, the National Museum of Catholic Art and History is America’s first museum devoted to the subject, and its location in East Harlem location is, appropriately, a converted Catholic elementary schoolhouse. Although Anthony Van Dyck’s Betrayal of Christ was the first painting in the collection, the museum specializes in contemporary, spiritually themed artwork.
